POEM – LEGACY

Tax evading Swiss Bank accounts, Jewellery in Lockers,
Ward robe not knowing which to wear,
Assistants to pick one for you, dainties on the table
All for the tip of the tongue, not more than that,
Craving to leave a LEGACY for whom . is unknown
Its billion dollar question. Poor You !!!
LEAVING A LEGACY
Innate desire of homo sapiens, knowing well
 leaving is as intent as coming;
Its mystery endless struggle for name and fame.
Tilled  soil looks for result and lives for the day,
.
Quenching pangs,A corner to doze.
A longing for others deep and unknown,
Going for goods,  pomp and power
Place above,  promising one for other.

Currency thy  name is Legacy.!
Shoes, necklaces, cars, rooms and fields
children and children  never would know the end.
Legacy rules the man,

Birds singing, nesting and nestling, sans Legacy
Flowers, fragrantly colouring,sans Legacy.
Protagonist’s of Eden,
legacy demands Disobedience

 Books in millions,  million languages,
Paintings of  hues and dyes,
 Michelangelo, Leona DaVanci, or Jakkanna,
Lovers Romeo and Juliet,

 Dev das and Parvathi,Salim,
Anarkali Laila Majnu
A few known to the unknown
Knowledge  not universal,
Values redefined .
Enoch,  “walked with God”, married, family,
But walked with God
To be vanished To be with Him.
Preacher, writer, painter, or carpenter?
Walked with God,
Secret of Life, Its eternal Legacy.
